Snack-trap fail

The snack-trap. I don't know it's real name but this is what I've dubbed it. It reminds me of a Venus Fly-trap. They are plastic containers with rubberized tops that look like pizzas. They are meant for little hands to go in and no snacks flying out. One lives with my parents and I kept the other one.

I've discovered that the ride home from daycare is easier - read less shrieky - when the Bit has snacks and water. During the past few weeks while my parents are in Alaska, the Bit has been going to daycare Monday to Thursday. It only took me into the second week to think of this trick. Anyway, today I couldn't find the snack-trap, was running a little bit late, and just figured she was old enough to eat out of a little bag.  I filled a snack-sized one with some Teddy Grahams and dried fruit and ran out the door.

Nope. Not ten minutes into the ride home I heard the unmistakable sound of little things raining down on back seat. She didn't even bother to pick up the pieces scattered in her car seat.
